Hunnar Shaala Foundation for Building Technology and Innovations

The Foundation works with urban poor communities to find solutions to housing and land issues in Kutch, Gujarat. They also work with partner organizations on basic infrastructure services, womens empowerment and livelihood issues. Direction and works: how people are empowered to shape their own habitats; how habitat solutions can become more environment friendly, sustainable and disaster safe; and how local artisanal knowledge and skills can deliver high quality products.
