Environmental protection in 5000 m altitude, Ladakh/ Little Tibet

The stunning beauty of the mountains in Ladakh is not untouched. Civilization, summiteers and other guests leave their traces in high altitudes and at the edges of settlings: Mountains of waste in mountains of stone. After having equiped people with solar cookers and reconstruction of houses after the flood catasthrophe the organisation LEDeG now pushs forward the waste topic and initiates a program to reduce and manage waste.
