Villagers forced to drink dirty water

One can reach Barota, a village located on the Gurgaon-Alwar road in Nuh district, in a little over half an hour from Gurgaon, the millennium city which boasts of world-class facilities.


However, clean drinking has failed to reach the village till date. For reasons best known to the authorities (un)concerned, the hapless villagers are forced to drink smelly brackish water.
