Organically cool

Alright, we'll go ahead and say it. Healthy, organic food is important and good for you. But it's so boring. And of course it is: the pleasure is not supposed to be as you eat, but afterward, when you feel great, light and full of energy because of all the fibre you ingested.

Unfortunately, this postumous bliss doesn't change the fact that a healthy diet often means surviving on plates of unsalted sadness.

Often, but not always. We have good news on the healthy, organic front: it's called Tattva and it's in Delhi, Hauz Khas Village (you would have never guessed, right?). A pretty, cleanly decorated café with white furniture and accents of bold colours, Tattva doesn't fall for any of the stereotypes that the notion of healthy comes with. No earthy colours. No terracotta plates. No tablecloths made of rough fabric. No ethnic logos. And no sadness.
